Rug Size & Fitting Guide
Fitting Guide |
Positioning & Balance
The dimensions of a room don't automatically decide the rug's size. Consider furniture placement. A well-proportioned rug brings everything together, creating harmony. Rugs can also balance asymmetry and section off open spaces.
Size & Comfort
Our rugs are treat for your feet, so for the ultimate underfoot adventure and boost your cozy level, ensure there's a good chuck of rug around your bed or along the corridor!
Rug Size |
Living Room
(Common sizes: 160x230 / 200x290)
Choosing the right rug size can really elevate the look of your living room. Make sure to measure and select the size before deciding on the design, color, and material. It's best to go for the largest size that fits the space to bring the room together and define an open layout.
Dining Room
(Common Sizes: 200x290 / 300 x400)
The rug should always be in proportion to the table. The rug should always accentuate the shape of the table. It is best to always leave enough space on either side of the table for chairs to be pulled out. Ensure the rug is wider and longer than the dining table, with a perimeter of 65-75cm to prevent chair legs catching. Chairs should always have their back legs on the rug.
Bedroom
(Common Sizes: 140x200 / 160x230 / 300x400)
Enhance the comfort of a bedroom with hard flooring by adding warmth and softness. Ensure the rug is strategically placed underfoot for a cozy feel when stepping out of bed. Take measurements to find the perfect rug size for a King Size, Queen Size, or Single bed.
